Holy Week

During Holy Week we follow Christ from his triumphant entrance into Jerusalem to the foot of the Cross as sorrowful bystanders to His Passion and Death, before rolling back the stone of the empty tomb to witness the joy of the Resurrection.

Station 10

Jesus was violently stripped by the executioners.

Station 14

The disciples carried the body of Jesus to bury it.

Station 9

Jesus was weak in the extreme when he fell the third time

Station 8

The women wept with compassion at seeing Jesus

Station 6

Veronica, seeing Jesus so ill-used, wiped his face.

Station 5

Simon of Cyrene helps Christ carry his Cross

Station 3

When Jesus falls the first time, he is so weakened he could scarcely walk

Station 2

Jesus accepts His Cross and offers to his Father the death he was about to undergo.

Station 1

Consider how Jesus Christ, after being scourged and crowned with thorns, was unjustly condemned by Pilate to die on the cross.

Station 7

Consider the second fall of Jesus under the Cross; a fall which renews the pain of all the wounds in his head and members.
