Bishop Pat Lynch has invited Catholics to pray for the survivors and victims of human trafficking and those who work to combat it on the 8th February, feast of St Josephine Bakhita.

It is the second year that Catholics in England and Wales will be observing this day of prayer and the first time that American Catholics are invited to do so, as the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has joined the UK in designating 8th February as a Day of Prayer for survivors and victims of human trafficking.

Prayer card bookmarks and Posters have been sent to all Parishes to help highlight this cause.
