National Week of Prayer and Awareness of Dementia

CBCEW » Health and Social Care » » National Week of Prayer and Awarene...

On Wednesday 19 March the doors of Cardinal Heenan House in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, will again be open to welcome people for a day of prayer and awareness of dementia.

Like last year, the gathering will be ecumenical, so our staff, residents, families, friends and ministers and parishioners from local Churches will all be represented and enjoy the day.

There will be an opportunity to pray, to listen to peoples’ experiences and to chat together.

Family members are warmly invited to accompany their relatives residing in Cardinal Heenan House.

As well as prayer, there should be moments for socialising, chatting with our staff and residents, sharing a cup of tea/coffee and some scones, tea cakes and biscuits. Sandwiches will be available for visitors during residents lunch time.
