Election of a new Vice President for the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales.
Following the retirement of Archbishop Malcolm McMahon as Archbishop of Liverpool, the Bishops’ first decision at the Spring Plenary 2025 was to appoint a new Vice President for the Bishops’ Conference.
Archbishop Bernard Longley, Archbishop of Birmingham and Chair of the Department for Dialogue and Unity was duly elected Vice President.
