Bishop of the Forces

The Right Reverend Paul Mason is the Bishop of the Forces.

Born in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, in November 1962, Bishop Mason was ordained to the priesthood in July 1998.

He was Ordained an Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Southwark in St George’s Cathedral on 31 May 2016, the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On 9 July 2018, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Mason the eighth Bishop of the Forces.
