In this episode we read Acts 7: 54-60 to Acts 8: 1-8. Stephen has enraged those who heard his speech. He is cast out of the city and stoned. Before he dies, Stephen says, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”

Chapter 8 starts with the account of Saul ravaging the church, entering house after house, dragging off men and women and committing them to prison.
