Bishop Declan Lang is Chair of the Bishops’ department for International Affairs and the Chair of the Holy Land Co-ordination.
The Holy Land Co-ordination is a gathering of Catholic Bishops in the lands of Christ’s birth, ministry, death and resurrection. Bishop Lang has led this annual pilgrimage of prayer and persuasion for many years and knows the region well.
Speaking shortly after a visit to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre in Jerusalem, Bishop Declan offered a simple, powerful message to mark Holocaust Memorial Day and to condemn anti-Semitism in all its forms.
