Catholic Union of Great Britain

Founded in 1871, the Catholic Union is the principal lay forum dedicated to the defence of Catholic values and the promotion of the common good in Parliament and public life.

The Union draws upon the broad expertuse if its members to scrutinise new legislation with a view to collationg and providing an expert response in cooperation with parliamentarians and the hierarchy. The Catholic Union seeks to promote the role of faith in citizenship, through educational activities, congerences and the media.
