We continue reading the Gospel of John into Easter Week so Reading John in Lent has become Reading John in Easter for the final five episodes.
Today, Mary Magdalene visits the tomb early and sees the stone had been taken away. She runs to Simon Peter and the other disciple and says, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.”
Reading John in Easter concludes on Easter Friday. We are journeying through John using the English Standard Version of the Bible (ESV) to deepen our relationship with the Risen Christ.
