Newman Lectures

In support of the ongoing legacy of Benedict XVI’s 2010 visit to the UK, and to promote the life and work of St John Henry Newman, the Newman Lecture was inaugurated.

The initiative planned for three public lectures to encourage others to benefit from Newman's example and insights.

Baroness Scotland of Asthal, former Attorney General and the first black and youngest woman to ever be appointed to Queen’s Counsel, has delivered the second Newman Lecture highlighting how the 19th Century Cardinal is a role model for everyone.

Award-winning screenwriter and acclaimed author, Frank Cottrell Boyce delivered the Inaugural Newman LectureNewman Lecture.
