Introduction

Liturgy

Through the liturgy the Church offers a living sacrifice of praise to God and so receives the grace to be the light of the world and to glorify the Father in the eyes of all. The Church’s liturgy consists of the Mass, the Sacraments and other rites, and daily prayer. Since the Second Vatican Council these rites have been revised in the light of sound tradition and that they be given new vigour to meet the circumstances and needs of life today.
